Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Bin Syed Mohamed Tahir is DNeX’s Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman. Prior to this, he was the company’s Executive Chairman, Group Managing Director and Independent Non-Executive Director.

Before DNeX, he held key positions in companies in various industries including PETRONAS, HICOM, Perodua, Proton, RHB and Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Marlishiraz Ramli (“Shiraz Ramli”) is Chief Executive Officer of DNeX IT, bringing over two decades of leadership across multinational technology organisations and government-linked companies. Known for her strategic insight and execution discipline, she is passionate about advancing Malaysia’s digital economy and building sovereign, future-ready technology ecosystems.

Previously, Shiraz held leadership roles at Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, Google Cloud, VMware, SAP, Alcatel Submarine Networks, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, and Microsoft Malaysia, with extensive experience across digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology.

Ezwan bin Mohamed Annuar

Director

Ezwan Mohamed Annuar is the Head of Business Strategy at Gamuda Technologies, supporting the organisation’s strategic direction in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, enterprise technology and sovereign AI.

Prior to joining Gamuda Technologies, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Payfo, a corporate fintech startup owned by Al-Bukhary Group, and subsequently as Digital Lead for Malaysia’s Sales Sector at PETRONAS. His professional experience spans business strategy, fintech, digital transformation and technology ecosystem development.

Derek Eng Jia Yih

Director

Derek Eng Jia Yih is the Senior Manager, Business Development at Gamuda, bringing extensive experience across engineering, tunnelling, infrastructure development and business development.

Previously, he held various engineering and management roles with MMC Gamuda KVMRT, contributing to major MRT tunnelling works. He was recognised as the ITA Young Tunneller of the Year in 2016, following his contributions to technically complex tunnelling operations and innovation.

Ashraff is the CEO of Gamuda DNeX Cloud. Before this, he was Green Packet’s Head of Corporate Strategy and Transformation.

He also held strategic and business transformation roles at UTM, UiTM, Sungai Klang Expressway, and Sapura Secured Technologies, as well as with Mass Rapid Transit Corporation and IJM.

With over 19 years of dedicated service in the technology sector, he has consistently demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence across diverse environments, from large government-linked company (GLC) to leading cloud service providers.

Adrian Hisham Mohd Don is an accomplished IT professional with over 15 years of experience in infrastructure, digital workplace management, and IT leadership. Before his tenure at Gamuda DNeX Cloud, Adrian served as the Assistant General Manager, IT HOD at Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd. His career also includes significant IT leadership roles at DKSH as a Senior Manager, and as Head of RCCS at Universiti Kuala Lumpur.

He has a strong track record in leading software projects, driving digital transformation, and advancing strategic initiatives.
